Angela P. Callahan, LPC, NCC
Angela found her calling for helping others from her family, and studied Psychology at Christopher Newport University, graduating in 2005. She decided to go a step further and attended graduate school at the College of William & Mary, Class of 2008, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. She holds a License in Professional Counseling and is a National Certified Counselor. Being an older sibling of a child with special needs has informed her in working with diverse populations, and having compassion for those who have experienced adversity in life.
Angela’s interests in helping you help yourself are many, but she specializes in working with people who are seeking a way out of depression, managing anxiety, improving themselves, and living in their truth. She also specializes in assisting transgender clients who are interested in transitioning medically, socially, and legally to be able to be themselves. She is also passionate about music, animals, and finding peace and enjoyment in the humors of each day. Angela enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and attending concerts and cultural events. She also loves coffee…coffee, coffee, coffee!
